The “Sitting Disease” refers to the ill-effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Sedentary behavior is characterized by performing activities that expend very low energy use. This encompasses activities such as watching television, using computers and driving. Prolonged sitting is defined as being sedentary for more than 2 hours straight.

The app provides standing break alarms and notifications for you to stand up and stretch. Taking frequent short breaks throughout the day is the key to a healthier lifestyle and higher productivity at work.

This app aims to introduce the benefits of taking regular breaks and carrying out low-level physical activities. It provides health information about the hazards of prolonged sitting.

It also features some simple desk exercises which employees can perform at their workstation. In this way, workers can be productive and healthy at the same time.

Users can set alarms from 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour and 30 minutes and 2 hours. We recommend that you take a standing break every hour.

This app does not require any permissions. However, for Android Pie users, the power saving mode must be set to "Optimized" for the app notifications to pop up.
